EDINA, Minn. Sept. 21, 2015 As the league prepares for its 64th season of competition, the men's Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) today proudly debuted "Tradition Starts Here," a 60-second video honoring the student-athletes, coaches and fans of its ten member institutions.

"There is inherent passion in college hockey, a transcendent pride for what is on front of the sweater, connecting players and fans across generations," said WCHA Commissioner Bill Robertson. "These intangibles have made college hockey so long beloved. 'Tradition Starts Here' is a celebration of the WCHA, our ten schools and our collective role as yesterday's heroes, today's champions and tomorrow's legends."

The video, which blends voiceover talent with still imagery, highlights and radio calls, is available at wcha.com, the league's YouTube channel and can be viewed below.

"Tradition Starts Here" was produced in collaboration between the WCHA league office and BLC Studios, part of Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minn. The video was shot and edited by Brian Christensen and Jeremiah Kuehne, under the direction of Greg Vandermause, manager at BLC Studios.
