EDINA, Minn. – Feb. 15, 2016 – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) and Van Andel Arena® announced today that single-session tickets for the 2016 WCHA Final Five, to be held March 18-19 at the Van Andel Arena, are on sale now.

Single-session tickets, priced at just $34.50 each for a lower-bowl seat, are available for either the Friday, March 18 semifinal session (both games for one ticket) or the Saturday, March 19 Broadmoor Trophy championship game. The format for the 2016 WCHA Final Five is: Friday, March 18 – Semifinal Game 1 at 4:07 p.m. ET, Semifinal Game 2 at 7:37 p.m. ET; and, Saturday, March 19 – Championship Game at 6:07 p.m. ET.

"We are excited to be less than a month away from once again hosting our jewel event – the WCHA Final Five – back in Grand Rapids at the Van Andel Arena," said WCHA Commissioner Bill Robertson. "Between three terrific games to determine our conference champion and other exciting events such as the WCHA Youth Clinic, we are looking forward to an affordable, family-friendly showcase of great college hockey."

The four winning teams from the WCHA's best-of-three, quarterfinal round playoff series advance to West Michigan to compete for the prestigious Broadmoor Trophy and an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament. Located in the heart of Michigan's second-largest city, the Van Andel Arena was site of the 2014 WCHA Final Five.

In addition to the three tournament games, the WCHA will celebrate hockey at all levels with a free youth clinic, open to children ages 12 and under, on championship Saturday. Participants will have a chance to skate on the Van Andel Arena ice while joining the WCHA in growing the game!
