More about Mary…

Hometown:
Traverse City, Mich.

Favorite Team:
Lake Superior State Lakers

I love LSSU hockey because:
The program has such a strong history behind it. Laker Hockey has a lot of great traditions and has had a lot of amazing players come out of the program. It's great to see the different mementos from past years at Taffy Abel and to get to watch the history continue.

My favorite hockey memory is:
Nick Kossoff's shutout in his college debut last year. It was at my first LSSU hockey game, and it was really cool to be there for that.

What I'm most looking forward to about the rest of the 2016-17 season is:
We've got some great matchups yet to come this season, and I can't wait for those!

Describe WCHA hockey in one word or phrase:
Outstanding
