Connection to the University of Alaska Fairbanks:
I am an alumna, class of 2015. My husband, Michael, is a current student. Kadence is a future Nanook!

We love Nanooks hockey because:
Because of the role models these athletes are for the youth in our community and for the determination and hard work they exhibit on the ice. I have been attending games since I was 5 years old. Now Kadence is just as passionate about the team as I am.

Our favorite hockey memory is:
Personally, I love that my daughter has grown up to witness multiple Governor Cup victories against our instate rivals at UAA. Kadence's favorite memory is getting to watch the games with her family and special 'Skate with the Nanooks' events. What we're most looking forward to about the rest of the 2016-17 season is: Seeing our seniors go out in a winning fashion.
