Junior forward Adam Brady handed out two assists for the Beavers

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA - Zac Masson scored his first career goal for Alaska Anchorage but it wasn't enough as the Seawolves dropped a 3-1 decision to Bemidji State Saturday.

After a scoreless first period, Bemidji scored twice in the second period. Charlie Combs scored the Beavers first goal on the powerplay at 9:31.

Brendan Harris scored the second BSU goal at 18:24 of the middle frame.

The Beavers used quick passing around the net to set Alex Ierullo up to score the team's third goal at 12:08 of the third period.

Masson scored his first career goal with less than one minute remaining when he poked in a loose puck on the powerplay. Carmine Buono and Jordan Xavier each tallied an assist.

Kris Carlson made 23 saves in goal for UAA.

Shots finished nearly even with BSU leading 26-25 and both teams were 1-for-2 on the man-advantage.

Alaska Anchorage (1-5-0, 0-4-0) will host Bowling Green Nov. 9-10.
