EDINA, Minn. Oct. 13, 2015 Four current and three former student-athletes from the women's Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) were named to the 22-player Four Nations Cup roster for Canada's National Women's Team, the governing body announced today. Canada will look to defend its gold medal against Finland, the United States and host Sweden from Nov. 4-8, in games to be held at the Engeri Arena in Sundsvall and the Anashallen Arena in Kovland.

Forwards Emily Clark (Wisconsin), Sarah Nurse (Wisconsin) and Sarah Potomak (Minnesota), along with defenseman Halli Krzyzaniak (North Dakota) will take a break from the 2015-16 WCHA season to compete for their home country. The former WCHA greats set to don the Canada sweater are defenseman Brigette Lacquette (Minnesota Duluth), along with forwards Sarah Davis (Minnesota) and 2014 Olympic gold medalist Natalie Spooner (Ohio State).
