EDINA, Minn. Oct. 1, 2015 Continuing an ongoing collaboration between two of the sport's more iconic brands, the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) and Let's Play Hockey (LPH) today announced a renewal of their partnership for the upcoming 2015-16 season.

Beginning with today's Oct. 1 issue of Let's Play Hockey, the men's and women's WCHA will have a continuing series of features highlighting the on- and off-ice accomplishments of its members, while also showcasing the return of the nation's premier women's conference tournament the WCHA Final Face-Off to Minneapolis and Ridder Arena on March 5 and 6, 2016.

"As a revered publication in the hockey community, Let's Play Hockey is an ideal platform to spotlight the WCHA's exceptional student-athletes, coaches and member institutions," said WCHA Men's Commissioner Bill Robertson and Women's Commissioner Aaron Kemp in a joint statement. "We share the commitment of LPH to growing the game and look forward to connecting with our many fans throughout the Upper Midwest."

In addition to the main feature pages, WCHA-related content will be distributed through Let's Play Hockey social media channels. The league will also join the publication at the 27th annual Let's Play Hockey Expo, to be held March 4-5, 2016 at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. Featuring a full weekend of all things hockey, and aligning with the WCHA Final Face-Off semifinals, the LPH Expo is free and open to the public.

"We are excited for the opportunity to highlight the WCHA and its members for our readers on a regular basis," said Doug Johnson, publisher of Let's Play Hockey. "It is a pleasure to work with a conference that is as passionate about growing and promoting the game as we are. We look forward to another season of helping the WCHA tell its story to thousands of hockey fans in the Upper Midwest."
