BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Nov. 3, 2017 – Sixty (60) student athletes from the Women's League of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) – more than any other NCAA Division I or II conference sponsoring women's hockey – have been honored by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) as inaugural Krampade® "All American Scholars." The initiative recognizes varsity ice hockey players who averaged a 3.60 grade-point average and participated in 40 percent of their school's games during the 2016-17 season.

"Our student-athletes continually amaze me for their inspiring performances on the ice, in the community and in the classroom," said WCHA Vice President and Women's League Commissioner Katie Million. "To achieve such high academic standards, while playing competitively at the highest level of college hockey, is truly awesome. Hats off to these amazing leaders and champions."
