Junior defenseman Hannah Bates had two assists for the Huskies

ERIE, Pa. - The St. Cloud State Women's Hockey team skated to a tie with Mercyhurst University in game two of the weekend series. The first period went scoreless, however, the Huskies pulled ahead just fifty seconds into the second period. Hallie Theodosopoulos scored her eighth goal of the season for the Huskies. Assists came from Klara Hymlarova and Hannah Bates. Shortly after, the Lakers tied up the game on a powerplay goal. The Huskies tallied a second goal to gain the lead yet again when freshman Taylor Lind scored. Lind was assisted by Olivia Cvar and Hannah Bates.

The Lakers scored another powerplay goal to tie the game up late in the third period to send the game into overtime. After a five minute overtime period, the game ended in a 2-2 tie. The Huskies went 1 for 4 on powerplay opportunities while the Lakers went 2 for 4. Emma Polusny made a game total of 39 saves for the Huskies.
