Senior goaltender Janine Alder made 24 saves for the Huskies

The Huskies came out hungry as they outshot RIT 17-8 in the first period. Just six minutes into the game, Emma Bigham put the Huskies on the board with an assist from Janna Haeg. Goaltender Janine Alder stopped eight shots for the Huskies in the first period.

Forty-eight seconds into the second period, Olivia Cvar notched her first collegiate goal giving the Huskies a two goal lead. Cvar was assisted by Jenniina Nylund and Dana Rasmussen.
