In a weekend sweep at home against WCHA rival Bemidji State, Anna Wilgren charted three assists and three points to lead WCHA defenders this week. She anchored the Wisconsin defense that allowed only one goal on the week and a total of 30 shots on net in the two game set at LaBahn Arena. Her plus/minus ranking was +5 in the two games and Wilgren’s stats included one blocked shot and eight shots on goal. The Badgers opened the weekend with a 4-0 shutout win over BSU, which included a pair of assists by Wilgren. To cap the sweep, UW earned an 8-1 victory on Oct. 21 as Wilgren had an assist on the first goal of the game by Britta Curl.
