A resident of Andover, Ella Boerger recorded the game winning goal at 9:45 of the second period during St. Thomas’ 4-1 win over Minnesota State on Nov. 9. Boerger completed the night with one goal and had assists on both of Bartz’ goals in the third period that provided key insurance goals for the Tommies. She finished the game with three shots on target and was +1 on the plus/minus. Boerger was also selected as the WCHA Rookie of the Week on Oct. 9, 2023.
