Kirsten Simms tallied four points in the #3 Badgers’ weekend split against #2 ranked Minnesota on Dec. 8-9. She had two goals and two assists along with eight shots and one power play goal against the Gophers. Simms scored one goal, one assists and four shots in both games at Minnesota, which included a 5-3 loss on Dec. 8 and a 5-1 win on Dec. 9. On the season, Simms now has 15 goals, 19 assists and 34 points. Simms currently leads the nation in scoring with an average of 2.00 points per game.
