WCHA connections highlight Team Canada Fall Festival

Ohio State's Emma Maltais recently participated in the Hockey Canada fall camp.
The recent Hockey Canada National Women's Team camp that was held on Sept. 11-16 in Thorold, Ontario featured a sizeable contingent of players with Western Collegiate Hockey Association connections.  The camp serves as an important part in the preparation for international competition throughout the 2023-24 season, including the 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship in Utica, NY, next spring.

Players invited to this year's Hockey Canada camp with WCHA affiliations included two goaltenders, four defenders and 10 defenders.  Hockey Canada's National Team also includes former Minnesota Duluth standout Caroline Ouellette as one of its assistant coaches in 2023-24.

The list below includes athletes invited to particpate in the fall camp.  Of note, a total of 46 players received invitations to participate in the camp that included training sessions and intrasquad games.
