STANDINGS | COMPOSITE SCHEDULE

Saturday's play in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association was highlighted by two overtime contests, a shutout and a comeback victory. 

The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers rallied for a 4-3 win over No. 2 Minnesota to remain undefeated on the season at 8-0. No. 5 Minnesota Duluth shut out St. Thomas for the second-straight game to earn the series sweep. No. 11 St. Cloud State and No. 2 Ohio State ended in a 3-3 tie before the Huskies earned the WCHA extra point in the shootout. In non-conference play, Bemidji State tied Linenwood 3-3.

DULUTH, Minn
. - No. 5 Minnesota Duluth completed the series sweep at home against the Tommies to improve to 4-2 in league play. Danielle Burgen scored the first goal of the game in the first frame for UMD, as that would be enough to win it for the Bulldogs in the 2-0 shutout. Dani Strom collected 30 saves in the contest as St. Thomas moved to 2-2 in WCHA action.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - 
The second round of the Border Battle matchup featured a comeback effort from the top-ranked Badgers as Wisconsin was down 3-1 heading into the final frame. After a scoreless first, the Gophers started the second with back-to-back goals from Sydney Morrow while teammate Madison Kaiser added another for the 3-0 lead. The Badgers would then go on to score four unanswered with Casey O'Brien finding the back of the net for the game-winning goal.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. -
The Buckeyes and Huskies headed into the third tied at two apiece before OSU's Jenna Buglioni scored the go-ahead goal for the Buckeyes. St. Cloud State's Dayle Ross responded with the final goal of the game to tie it at three. The Huskies would then go on to earn the extra point in the shootout.

BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team and Lindenwood University skated to a 3-3 tie Saturday afternoon in their non-conference series finale at Sanford Center. Raeley CarneyRiley Reeves and Isa Goettl each scored for the Beavers (1-6-1).
