The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes won the 2024 Women's Icebreaker Tournament to highlight Saturday's schedule in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

MANKATO, Minn. -  
No. 4 Minnesota secured the series sweep over Minnesota State in a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory. The Gophers' Peyton Hemp tallied her second power-play goal in two games midway through the first period to put Minnesota on the board. The Mavericks would then go on to score two unanswered from Madison Mashuga followed by Audrey Garton. Sophomore Ava Lindsay scored the game-tying goal in the third for the Gophers to send the game into overtime where Peyton Hemp recorded the game-winning goal.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -  
The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes defeated No. 11 Cornell 7-3 to win the 2024 Women's Ice Breaker Tournament. Jocelyn Amos led the Buckeyes with four points on the day and joined Emma Peschel and Joy Dunne in being named to the all-tournament team. With today's victory, Ohio State became the third WCHA team to win the Women's Ice Breaker Tournament, which is in its fourth year.

 ST. CLOUD, Minn. –
The Huskies scored a goal in each period in route to their 3-1 victory over St. Thomas at home. Three different Huskies scored in the win as Greta Henderson, Laura Zimmermann and Abby Promersberger each found the back of the net. The Tommies' Chloe Boreen scored a power-play goal to lead St. Thomas in the loss.
