The top four teams in the nation each earned victories in Friday's Western Collegiate Hockey Association action as No. 1 Wisconsin, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Minnesota and No. 4 Minnesota Duluth improved in the WCHA standings.

BEMIDJI, Minn. -
The Gophers' Natalie Mlynkova recorded two first-period goals to lead Minnesota to a 2-1 victory over Bemidji State. The Beavers' Izy Fairchild scored the lone goal in the loss while teammate Kaitlin Groess posted 25 saves for Bemidji State.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn
. - St. Thomas' Maddie Brown scored the first goal of the game for the Tommies within the opening three minutes of play. Ohio State was quick to respond as Joy Dunne scored the equalizer just 15 seconds later. The Buckeyes would then go on to score the next four to earn its fourth-straight victory and improve to 5-2-2 in WCHA play. Dunne led all skaters with four points in the contest off of two goals and two assists.

 ST. CLOUD, Minn. – 
A four-goal first period propelled the top-ranked to a 6-0 shutout victory over No. 8 St. Cloud State on the road. The Badgers improved to 11-0-0 on the season as their 11-game winning streak is the fourth-longest winning streak to open a season in program history. St. Cloud State's  Emilia Kyrkkö who was named the HCA Rookie of the Month recorded 13 saves in the loss to the Badgers.

 MANKATO, Minn.
- After scoring three goals in the first frame, No. Minnesota Duluth went on to defeat Minnesota State 4-1 in a road win. A trio of Bulldogs recorded a goal in the first frame as Nina Jobst-Smith, Olivia Mobley and Caitlin Kraemer each found the back of the net. Sydney Langseth gave Minnesota State its only goal of the game in the third marking her second of the season.
