The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes defeated No. 1 Wisconsin to headline Saturday's Western Collegiate Hockey Association slate. No. 3 Minnesota recorded a top-four series sweep after defeating No. 4 Minnesota Duluth 3-2 on the road, while No. 8 St. Cloud State earned an overtime victory against Minnesota State. Bemidji State picked up its first series sweep of the season after a 4-3 decision at home against St. Thomas.

DULUTH, Minn. - The third-ranked Minnesota Gophers pulled off the series sweep over No. 4 Minnesota Duluth after a 3-2 road victory. After a quick score by the Bulldogs in the first, Minnesota responded with two unanswered Gracie Graham and Peyton Hemp. The Gophers' Emma Conner scored the game-winning goal with nine minutes left to go before the Bulldogs' Nina Jobst-Smith found the back of the net to bring her team within one for a 3-2 final score. Freshman goalkeeper Hannah Clark posted 31 saves for Minnesota to earn her fifth win of the season in the net.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Buckeyes defeated No. 1 Wisconsin to give the Badgers their first loss of the season in Saturday's WCHA action. Makenna Webster and Maddi Wheeler each found the back of the net in the first to give the Buckeyes an early 2-0 lead before Wisconsin's Kirsten Simms responded with one of her own. After a scoreless second period, Ohio State's Kiara Zanon gave her team the 3-1 lead on what would be the game-winning goal as the Badgers' Maggie Scannell notched one more for the Badgers. Amanda Thiele got the win in the net for the Buckeyes while collecting 24 saves.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State completed the comeback and earned the overtime victory over Minnesota State at home in Saturday's WCHA play. After a scoreless first period of play, the Mavericks' JuliAnna Gazdik found the back of the net for her first goal of the season before St. Cloud State's Emma Gentry responded with the Huskies' first goal of the game. Both teams would go on to score one in the third to send the game into overtime tied at two. Sofianna Sundelin recorded her second goal of the season to win it in overtime for St. Cloud State.

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State recorded its first sweep of the season after defeating St. Thomas in WCHA play. The Beavers got off to a strong start scoring three in the first frame courtesy of Hailey Armstrong, Mya Headrick and Kate Johnson. Heading into the third down three, St. Thomas' Maddie Jurgensen netted a goal right before the Beavers' Shelby Sandberg scored what would be the game-winning goal just two minutes later. The Tommies would go on to score two more goals before falling 4-3 to the Beavers.
