STANDINGS | COMPOSITE SCHEDULE

Saturday's action in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association was highlighted by a pair of upset victories by Minnesota State and No. 10 St. Cloud State. The Mavericks defeated No. 2 Ohio State in Mankato while the Huskies won 3-1 over No. 3 Minnesota. Both No. 1 Wisconsin and No. 4 Minnesota Duluth each recorded series sweeps at home defeating St. Thomas and Bemidji State, respectively.

DULUTH, Minn. –
Minnesota Duluth picked up the series sweep after a shutout win over Bemidji State in Saturday's league action. Tova Henderson scored her second goal on the weekend 12 minutes into the first frame to put the Bulldogs up 2-0. Olivia Mobley notched her second of the series eight minutes into the second for the final goal of the game. Tindra Holm got her second shutout of the season for the Bulldogs while Eva Filippova collected 37 saves in the loss for the Beavers.

MANKATO, Minn. –
The Mavericks picked up their second win over a top-10 opponent in two weeks after defeating No. 2 Ohio State 4-1 on Saturday afternoon. Claire Vekich opened up the scoring for the Mavericks with a goal in the first period. After a scoreless second period of play, the Mavericks' Taylor Otremba scored her first of two on the day in the third to extend the lead to two goals. Ohio State's Maddi Wheeler gave the Buckeyes their first and only goal of the game before MSU tacked on two more within the final five minutes of play.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. –
For the first time since 2010, the St. Cloud State Huskies defeated Minnesota at home. After a scoreless first period of play, Abby Promersberger put the Huskies on the board off of an assist from Brieja Parent. Heading into the third up one, the Huskies tacked on two more goals courtesy of Parent and Avery Farrell. Minnesota's Natalie Mlynkova closed out the game with a lone goal for the Gophers. Sanni Ahola earned the win between the pipes for the Huskies as she collected 38 saves in the win.

MADISON, Wis. –  
The Badgers remained undefeated at home after defeating St. Thomas 5-2 inside La Bahn Arena. Just 52 seconds into play, Casey O'Brien put the Badgers on the board with her first of two goals on the afternoon. Maddie Brown then opened the second period with a goal to tie it up for the Tommies. The Badgers recorded two more in the second before Brown scored her second of the game to bring the Tommies within one heading to the third. Caroline Harvey scored her 100th career point off of a goal to extend the lead for the Badgers in the third before O'Brien found the back of the net for her second of the night to close out the game.
