Saturday's action in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association saw four teams earn series sweeps as No. 1 Wisconsin, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Minnesota and No. 11 St. Cloud State each recorded victories.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. - 
A four-goal performance by Laila Edwards propelled the top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers to a 4-1 victory and series sweep over St. Thomas on Saturday afternoon. Edwards scored a hat trick in the first frame, becoming the first Badger this season to accomplish the feat. The Badgers added four more in the second frame before Maddy Clough found the back of the net for the lone St. Thomas goal. Heading into the final frame up 7-1, the Badgers recorded four more unanswered, including Edwards' fourth goal.

DULUTH, Minn. - 
The Buckeyes completed the series sweep over No. 4 Minnesota Duluth after a thrilling 2-1 victory on Saturday afternoon. Joy Dunne put Ohio State on the board just over two minutes into play before Minnesota Duluth's Olivia Wallin scored the equalizer to close out the opening frame. The second frame saw Ohio State's Makenna Webster score her first game-winning goal of the season, as both teams were scoreless in the final period. The Buckeyes outshot the Bulldogs 46 to 14 while sophomore netminder Eve Gascon tallied 44 saves for the Bulldogs.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. -
After trailing 2-0, No. 11 St. Cloud State rallied for a 3-2 victory over Bemidji State and earned its first series sweep since October. Izy Fairchild put the Beavers on the board eight minutes into play, scoring the only goal of the first frame. Isa Goettl scored early in the second to give the Beavers the 2-0 lead. St. Cloud State then scored back-to-back goals to close out the second frame. Sofianna Sundelin scored the game-winning goal with just over a minute left in the contest for the Huskies. The Huskies completed the season sweep over the Beavers with today's win.

MANKATO, Minn. -
The third-ranked Minnesota Gophers earned the series sweep over Minnesota State after defeating the Mavericks 5-2 on the road. Josefin Bouveng put the Gophers on the board within the first two minutes of the game on the power play for her first of three goals in the contest. Teammate Allie Franco found the back of the net with three minutes to go in the first frame. Abbey Murphy opened up the second frame with her 20th goal of the season and 90th career goal for the 3-0 Gophers lead before Bouveng scored her second of the night six minutes later. The Mavericks rallied with back-to-back goals courtesy of Alexis Paddington and JuliAnna Gazdik before Minnesota's Bouveng closed the game with her second career hat trick.
