MADISON, Wis. - In a rematch of last year's NCAA Championship Final, No. 1 Wisconsin shutout No. 2 Ohio State 6-0 at home as the Badgers claimed their sixth-straight victory. Wisconsin jumped out to an early lead as Lacey Eden scored just over a minute into the contest. The Badgers tacked on two more unanswered in the opening frame courtesy of Cassie Hall and Maggie Scannell. The second frame saw two more unanswered Badger goals from Sarah Wozniewicz and Laila Edwards. Eden scored her second of the night in the third as Wisconsin completed the shutout. Ava McNaughton got the win in the net while recording her NCAA-leading seventh shutout of the season.

DULUTH, Minn. - The fourth-ranked Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs defeated Syracuse in non-conference action inside Amsoil Arena for their first matchup of 2025. Five different Bulldogs scored in the 6-2 win as the team was led by Olivia Wallin who recorded two goals the first of which marked the 50th of her career. Minnesota Duluth recorded a season-high 50 shots on goal in the victory.
