Saturday's Western Collegiate Hockey Association action was highlighted by the top two teams in the nation taking part in the first-ever women's college hockey game at Wrigley Field.

CHICAGO, Ill. -
The first ever women's college hockey game at Wrigley Field showcased the top-two teams in the nation as No. 2 Ohio State and No. 1 Wisconsin played to a 3-3 draw with the Buckeyes winning the extra WCHA point in a seven-round shootout. Ohio State's Jordyn Petrie opened the scoring just under a minute into the game. The Badgers responded with goals from Caroline Harvey and Kristen Simms in the first frame. Ohio State's Makenna Webster scored the equalizer with just under two minutes left to go in the second while teammate Joy Dunne scored the go-ahead goal to open the third frame. With under five minutes to go Wisconsin's Kelly Gorbatenko scored the equalizer to send the game to overtime. After a scoreless overtime, Ohio State's Jenna Buglioni gave the Buckeyes the shootout win in the seventh round.

ST. CHARLES, Mo. -
Minnesota State secured a 4-1 victory over Lindenwood in the second game of their non-conference weekend series on Saturday afternoon. The Mavericks completed the series sweep over the Lions and earned their fourth-straight victory. Four different Mavericks scored in the victory while netminder Jessie McPherson got the win between the pipes while tallying 21 saves in the contest.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Bemidji State completed its largest comeback in program history on Saturday afternoon against Brown en route to a 6-4 victory at the East/West Showcase at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis, Minn. Sophomore Hailey Armstrong scored twice in the victory including the game-winning goal with 43.2 seconds remaining to lead her team to victory.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - 
The third-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers fell 6-2 to No. 12 Penn State in its second contest of the East/West Showcase at Ridder Arena on Saturday afternoon.
