STANDINGS | COMPOSITE SCHEDULE

Friday's action in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association was highlighted by two overtime victories and an upset. The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers defeated No. 6 Minnesota Duluth 2-1 in overtime and Bemidji State earned the overtime win against Minnesota State. The third-ranked Minnesota Gophers defeated No. 2 Ohio State 3-1, while No. 11 St. Cloud State recorded a commanding 5-2 victory over St. Thomas.

DULUTH, Minn. -
The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers defeated No. 6 Minnesota Duluth on the road in a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory. The Bulldogs were on the board first after Grace Sadura netted her second of the season just under eight minutes into the contest. The Badgers responded with a goal of their own by Marianne Picard. After a scoreless second and third frame, Kirsten Simms scored the game-winner in overtime. Wisconsin's Ava McNaughton recorded her 25th win of the season after stopping 27 of the 28 shots she faced. Minnesota Duluth's Ève Gascon recorded 40 saves despite the loss. Wisconsin extended its unbeaten streak to 15 games with the win.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. -
The Huskies tallied five goals en route to a 5-2 victory against St. Thomas on Friday afternoon. Sofianna Sundelin opened the scoring for the Huskies in the first frame with her first of two on the day. St. Cloud State recorded back-to-back goals to open up the second courtesy of Alice Sauriol and Brieja Parent before St. Thomas' Chloe Boreen gave the Tommies their first goal. St. Cloud State's Laura Zimmermann closed out the second with a goal of her own, while teammate Sundelin netted her second of the day to open the third. The Huskies' Sanni Ahola became the program record holder in career goaltender wins with 35 after she recorded 13 saves in the win.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -
After a scoreless first two frames, No. 3 Minnesota pulled off the upset over No. 2 Ohio State 3-1 on Friday night. Both the Gophers and the Buckeyes held each other scoreless through the first two periods, as all four goals in the game came in the third. Ella Huber opened up the third, scoring back-to-back goals, while teammate Abbey Murphy extended the Gopher lead to three in the first nine minutes of play. Ohio State's Emily Zumwinkle scored the only goal of the night for the Buckeyes in the 3-1 loss. Hannah Clark got the win between the pipes for the Gophers after recording 25 saves in the game.

BEMIDJI, Minn. -
Makenna Deering propelled Bemidji State to a 3-2 overtime win over Minnesota State on Friday afternoon. Deering scored her first goal of the season to put the Beavers on the board in the first frame. The second period saw Izy Fairchild extend the lead to two for the Beavers, but the Mavericks responded with back-to-back goals from Whitney Tuttle. After a scoreless third frame, Deering scored 21 seconds into overtime to give the Beavers the 3-2 victory. Eva Filippova collected 30 saves in the game for her first win of the season. This marked the third conference win of the season for Bemidji State.
