The third-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers defeated No. 2 Ohio State to split the series with the Buckeyes in Sunday's Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) action.

- The third-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers earned a 6–3 victory over No. 2 Ohio State at home to split the series with the Buckeyes after a three-goal first period helped the Gophers build an early cushion and secure the top-three win.
- Minnesota's Bella Fanale, Josefin Bouveng, and Ava Lindsay each scored a goal in the opening period to give the Gophers a 3-0 lead before Ohio State's Joy Dunne scored with less than a minute to go in the first.
