Four Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) teams earned victories in Saturday's action as No. 2 Ohio State, No. 4 Minnesota Duluth, and St. Thomas recorded wins in conference action, and No. 1 Wisconsin defeated Union to win the 2025 Women's Icebreaker Tournament.

- St. Thomas pulled off the upset over No. 10 St. Cloud State with a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory on the road as the Tommies' Jenessa Gazdik scored 37 seconds into the overtime period.
- Ella Hause netted her second of the series just eight minutes into the game for St. Thomas, but the Huskies responded, scoring the next three goals of the game to have a 3-1 lead four minutes into the third period.
- Maddie Brown brought the Tommies within one at the 7:40 mark of the third before teammate Ilsa Lindaman scored on the power play to tie the game with six minutes to go.
- St. Thomas Dani Strom picked up her first win on the 2025-2026 season, saving 28 shots in the game.

- The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers shut out Union 4-0 to win the 2025 Women's Icebreaker Tournament, as WCHA teams have now claimed four of the five Women's Icebreaker Tournament titles.
- Cassie Hall started the scoring for the Badgers just under five minutes into the game, while Kelly Gorbatenko scored the Badgers' second goal of the game at the 5:21 mark of the second; Lacy Eden then scored two goals to close out the game for Wisconsin.
- Defender Caroline Harvey eclipsed 150 career points during the game as she became the first Badger blueliner in program history to record 150-plus points.

- After trailing by one with less than seven minutes left to go, No. 4 Minnesota Duluth scored three goals in the span of 3:07 to rally and defeat RV Minnesota State 3-1 for the series sweep.
- Taylor Otremba scored the lone goal for the Mavericks in the opening period as teammates Kamryn Van Batavia and Lauren Zwoyski picked up assists on the goal.
- The Bulldogs Grace Sadura tied the game at the 13:48 mark of the third before Thea Johansson recorded back-to-back goals to lead Minnesota Duluth to victory.
- Johansson became the second Bulldog transfer to register her 100th career point at Minnesota Duluth.

- The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes took game one over No. 3 Minnesota to remain undefeated and hand the Gophers their first loss of the season.
- Kassidy Carmichael recorded her first-ever power play goal in the first period to give Ohio State the 1-0 lead; the Buckeyes tacked on two more goals in the second from Joy Dunne and Hilda Svensson, who converted on a penalty shot.
- Hailey MacLeod stopped 28 of 29 shots to remain undefeated on the season, while her 28 saves were the most of her Buckeye career and her most saves in a game since stopping 39 shots against the Buckeyes in the 2024 WCHA Final Faceoff semifinals.
- Minnesota's Madison Kaiser picked up the lone goal from an assist by Josefin Bouveng, while netminder Hannah Clark made a career-high 43 saves in the game.
