- The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers shut out Maine 5-0 in their home-opener, marking the team's third straight win and second consecutive shutout.
- After a scoreless opening period, Laila Edwards scored her first of two at the 5:19 mark as the Badgers went on to score four more in the game; Edwards recorded her first multi-goal game of this season.
- Ava McNaughton earned her second straight shutout while collecting 25 saves, as she now has 1,310 career saves in her career and surpassed Meghan Horras for the sixth most in Wisconsin program history.
No. 3 Minnesota 5, No. 13 Boston University 0 - BOX SCORE - Minnesota Recap
- Minnesota improved to 3-0 on the season after posting a 5-0 shutout win over No. 13 Boston University and recorded back-to-back shutouts for the first time since Oct. 13–14, 2023, vs. St. Thomas.
- Abbey Murphy led the Gophers with two goals in the game and added an assist, while Nelli Laitinen, Bella Fanale, and Madison Kaiser each recorded one goal.
- Minnesota sophomore netminder Hannah Clark earned her first shutout of the season and third of her career while collecting 24 saves in the victory.
Minnesota State 4, Lindenwood 0 - BOX SCORE - Minnesota State Recap
- The Mavericks improved to 3-0 on the season and recorded their second shutout after a 4-0 defeat of Lindenwood in their home-opener.
- Ayla Puppe recorded two first-period goals for Minnesota State while Taylor Otremba added one in the second, and Zoe Lopez tacked on another in the third.
- In net, Hailey Hansen earned her second consecutive and sixth career shutout while collecting 17 saves in the victory.
Bemidji State State 3, Robert Morris 0 - BOX SCORE - Bemidji State Recap
- Bemidji State earned its first win and first shutout of the season after a 3-0 defeat of Robert Morris in its home opener.
- The Beavers recorded two goals early in the first period courtesy of Hailey Armstrong and Morgan Smith, while Isa Goettl netted her first of the season in the third.
- Sophomore goaltender Kaitlin Groess earned the first shutout of her career and collected 12 saves in the net for the Beavers.
No. 2 Ohio State 5, No. 7 Colgate 3 - BOX SCORE - Ohio State Recap
- The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes opened their season with a comeback win over No. 7 Colgate, as the Buckeyes were the first team since 2013 to defeat the Raiders in their first game of the season.
- After being down one after the first period, Ohio State scored twice in 30 seconds in the second period with goals from Joy Dunne and Mira Jungåker before Colgate tied the game at two at the 16:49 mark of the second period.
- The third period saw Ohio State explode for three-straight goals as Dunne and Jungåker each recorded their second of the game, and Emma Peschel added one.
