Top-ranked Wisconsin recorded an 8-0 shutout over No. 15 St. Thomas in Thursday night's Western Collegiate Hockey Association action as the Badgers earned their 13th win of the season.

- The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers picked up their 13th win and eighth shutout of the season with an 8-0 victory over No. 15 St. Thomas to open up the series.
- Wisconsin tacked on three goals in the opening period to set the tone for the game; Lacey Eden scored her first of two for the lone goal of the second period, while the Badgers tacked on four more unanswered in the final frame.
- Caroline Harvey led the Badgers offensively with four points off a goal and three assists, while Eden totaled three points with her two goals and an assist; in total, 13 Badgers recorded at least a point in the win, including Grace Bickett, who scored her first goal of the season.
- Junior netminder Ava McNaughton earned her sixth shutout of the season for the Badgers as she stopped all 13 shots she faced.
- Dani Strom started in net for the Tommies and made 12 saves before Nora Hannan came on to record 24 in the loss.
