The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers broke the program record for most goals in a game, defeating Stonehill 17-2 in the lone Western Collegiate Hockey Association matchup on Sunday.

- The Badgers improved to 15-1-1 on the season with the 17-2 win over Stonehill and went 2-0 at the SMASHVILLE Women's Collegiate Hockey Showcase; the Badgers recorded four first-period goals, followed by nine in the second and four in the third frame.
- Two Badgers recorded a hat trick as Kirsten Simms and McKayla Zilisch each netted their firsts of the season; Zilisch scored all three of her goals in the second period as she scored her first goal and recorded the first hat trick of her Badger career.
- A total of 15 Badgers recorded at least a point in the win, while Laila Edwards led the team with five points with her one goal, four assist performance; Lacey Eden reached 200 career points in the win, becoming the ninth Badger in program history to reach the milestone.
