WCHA Recap - Nov. 7

Friday's action in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) saw No. 14 St. Thomas pick up the win against Bemidji State in the WCHA's lone matchup of the day.

- The Tommies earned their eighth win of the season, defeating Bemidji State 5-0 on the road to open up their series with the Beavers. 
- St. Thomas opened the scoring ten minutes into the first with a goal from Chloe Boreen; Jenessa Gazdik extended the lead to 2-0 for St. Thomas 40 seconds into the second; the Tommies went on to score three unanswered in the third. 
- Rylee Bartz and Gazdik led the way for St. Thomas, each picking up a goal and two assists while three other Tommies had two points on the afternoon.
- Julia Minnoti stopped all 17 shots she faced to earn her second shutout of the season and sixth win. 
- Bemidji State goaltender Ava Hills recorded 16 saves in the loss for the Beavers; teammate Tayla Hendrickson recorded three blocks.
