Four Western Collegiate Hockey Association teams earned victories in Saturday's conference play action as No. 1 Wisconsin, No. 2 Ohio State, St. Thomas, and Minnesota State each defeated their respective opponents.

DULUTH, Minn. - After being down 1-0 heading into the final frame, No. 1 Wisconsin completed the series sweep over No. 6 Minnesota Duluth with a 2-1 victory. The Bulldogs scored the first goal in the game as Olivia Mobley recorded her 14th goal of the season with under three minutes remaining in the opening frame. After a scoreless second period, Wisconsin battled back with two unanswered goals in the final frame courtesy of Laila Edwards and Sarah Wozniewicz. The Badgers extended their unbeaten streak to 16 games with the 2-1 win.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. - For the second-consecutive weekend, St. Thomas earned an upset win over a ranked opponent after defeating No. 11 St. Cloud State 2-1 in overtime. After a scoreless first frame, St. Thomas' Ella Boerger notched the game's first goal with just over three minutes to go in the second. Down one heading to the third, St. Cloud State's Sofianna Sundelin scored the equalizer at the 12:52 mark for the final goal in regulation. Lauren Stenslie ended the game just 30 seconds into overtime. St. Thomas' netminder Dani Strom stopped 33 of the 32 shots she faced for her 13th 30-plus save performance of the season.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes bounced back and split the series with No. 3 Minnesota with a 7-3 victory on Saturday afternoon. The Gophers' Emma Connor lit the lamp in the opening two minutes of play. The second frame was a back-and-forth battle as Ohio State's Sloane Matthews scored the equalizer just under two minutes in before Minnesota's Peyton Hemp took back the lead for the Gophers on the power play six minutes in. Matthews tied the game at the 7:28 mark before Hemp took the lead for the Gophers once again. Matthews ended the second period with her first hat trick of the season. The third frame saw the Buckeyes score four unanswered and earn the 7-3 victory.

BEMIDJI, Minn. - Minnesota State defeated Bemidji State 5-1 to split the series with the Beavers on the road. JuliAnna Gazdik put the Mavericks on the board first as the sophomore defender scored with under two minutes left to go in the first, but the Beavers were quick to respond, scoring 30 seconds later as Genevieve Hendrickson notched the equalizer. The second frame saw Kamryn Van Batavia score the go-ahead goal for Minnesota State. The Mavericks would go on to score three goals in the final period, including two from Alexis Paddington for the 5-1 win. Both netminders recorded 30 plus saves in the contest as Minnesota State's Jessie McPherson earned the win with 34 and Bemidji State's Kaitlin Groess collected 33.
