With the 2024-25 regular season complete, the field has been set for the Western Collegiate Hockey Association postseason tournament. 
 
The 2024-25 WCHA regular season champion and Julianne Bye Cup winner, Wisconsin, is the tournament’s top seed and is set to host #8 Bemidji State. #2 Ohio State hosts #7 St. Thomas, #3 Minnesota hosts #6 Minnesota State, while #4 Minnesota Duluth earned the final home ice advantage to host #5 St. Cloud State.
 
The four winners of the best-of-three First Round advance to the 2025 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff, held March 7-8 at AMSOIL Arena hosted by the University of Minnesota, Duluth. The winner of the 2025 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff receives the league’s automatic bid into the NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Championship.
