ITHACA. N.Y. - The 2024-25 season came to an end Saturday afternoon for No. 6 Minnesota Duluth team after the Bulldogs were defeated by the third-seeded host Cornell 1-0 in the NCAA Regional Final.

After two scoreless 40 minutes of play, Alyssa Regalado scored the game-winning goal for Cornell in the opening three minutes of the final period. The WCHA Goaltender of the Year, Ève Gascon, made 20 saves on 21 shots faced in the contest. Minnesota Duluth outshot Cornell 28-21 despite the loss. The Bulldogs end the season with a record of 22-15-2 overall after making their 16th NCAA Tournament, while Cornell advanced to the NCAA Frozen Four for the first time since 2019 with a record of 25-4-5.
