Minnesota Duluth's Wallin Named HCA National Player of the Month for February

After being named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Forward of the Month earlier this week, Minnesota Duluth's Olivia Wallin was tabbed the Hockey Commissioners Association Women's National Player of the Month for February.

The fifth-year Bulldog forward recorded 15 points off of six goals and nine assists during the month. Wallin led the WCHA in total points and was tied for the league lead with her nine assists. The Oakville, Ontario native recorded four multi-point games in February. Wallin earned a career-high six points off of two goals and four assists in the Bulldogs' win over Minnesota State on Feb. 14. In the opening game of the WCHA First Round series against St. Cloud State, Wallin recorded the game-winning goal with five seconds left in the comeback victory.

This marks the first HCA National Player of the Month honor of the season for Wallin after she most recently earned her first WCHA monthly award.
