The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) has announced an extension of its existing partnership with Howies Hockey Tape for the 2025-26 season. 

"We are excited to maintain our long-standing relationship with Howies, who are synonymous with hockey," said WCHA Commissioner Michelle McAteer. "The "play of the week" is one of our most popular features and showcases the WCHA's best, presented by Howies, who pride themselves on quality.  Thank you to Dave Visser and the Howies' team for consistently supporting the WCHA."

As part of this renewed partnership, Howies Hockey Tape will serve as the sole sponsor of the league's "Play of the Week" feature on all of the WCHA's social media platforms. This extended collaboration with Howies Hockey Tape benefits the WCHA through expanded branding opportunities and added resources for the 2026 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff.
