Saturday's action in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) saw Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota State, and St. Cloud State earn series sweeps while St. Thomas recorded a shutout in their first game of the 2025-26 season.

No. 6 Minnesota Duluth 5, RV Mercyhurst 3 - BOX SCORE - UMD RECAP
- The Bulldogs secured the first sweep of the 2025-2026 season with a 5-3 win over Mercyhurst on the road.
- UMD saw scoring from five different players in the win, including Rae Mayer, Grace Sadura, Caitlin Kraemer, Thea Johansson, and Ida Karlsson as well as six additional Bulldogs picking up assists.
- In goal, Ève Gascon earned her second win of the season and 27th of her career in net for the Bulldogs.
Minnesota State 5, RPI 3 - BOX SCORE
- The Mavericks closed out their series with RPI with a 5-3 victory to earn the series sweep on the road.
- Zoey Lopez headlined the Mavericks, scoring a goal and tallying an assist as 11 different Mavericks recorded a point in the win.
- Hailey Hanson earned her second straight win in net while recording 18 saves in the game.
No. 13 St. Cloud State 5, Lindenwood 0 - BOX SCORE
- The Huskies went off for four goals in the first period en route to a 5-0 victory over Lindenwood, securing their first sweep of the 2025-2026 season while head coach Mira Jalosuo earned her first sweep as head coach.
- For the second straight year, the Huskies sweep and shut out Lindenwood in both games to start their season
- Siiri Yrjölä led the way for the Huskies, racking up one goal and two assists, while Jojo Chobak had 22 saves as she picked up the win and shutout in her first appearance in net for St. Cloud State since March of 2024.
RV St. Thomas 7, Post University 0 - BOX SCORE
- St. Thomas shut out Post University 7-0 on the road for its season 2025-26 opener.
- After recording just one goal in the first period, the Tommies excelled and put up five in the second, and one in the third, helping to secure the 7-0 victory.
- Rylee Bartz and Ella Boerger led the team with three points each, and three additional Tommies picked up a pair. Julia Minotti picked up her first win and shutout in goal for the purple and white, stopping all five shots she faced.
