On Monday, the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) announced that the league has extended its partnership with Align Financial through the 2025-26 season. Align Financial will serve as an official sponsor of the 2026 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff.
Align Financial, a fiduciary financial planning company based in the Duluth, Minnesota area, will aid the WCHA in branding and financial support for the league's premier event at the 2026 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff. The partnership extension will also continue to enhance the WCHA's overall marketing and brand presence.
"We are thrilled to have Align Financial on board again, supporting the 2026 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff," said WCHA Commissioner Michelle McAteer. "Tanya Nichols cares deeply about supporting women's hockey, and their support allows us to enrich the student-athlete experience by offering an Awards Banquet. Align is known for empowering women, which "aligns" with what our league, members, coaches, and players do on a daily basis."

"We are honored to support the WCHA Final Faceoff once again," said Align Financial Founder and President Tanya Nichols. "At Align Financial, we believe in investing in women - whether they’re preparing for retirement or competing at the highest levels of collegiate athletics. Our continued partnership with the WCHA reflects our dedication to advancing opportunities for women and celebrating the strength and determination they bring to every arena.”
