A full weekend of conference action is in store in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, with all eight teams hitting the ice. Two top-15 matchups are on the slate as No. 3 Minnesota and No. 15 St. Cloud State square off, and No. 13 Minnesota State hosts No. 9 Minnesota Duluth.

Fans can purchase all-session tickets for the 2026 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff today at the link HERE. Annually featuring a collection of the nation's highest-ranked programs and best players, the WCHA's four remaining teams will compete for the league's playoff championship and an automatic berth in the 2026 NCAA tournament. The league's premier event begins on Thursday, March 5, with two semifinal matchups at 4 PM CT and 7:30 PM CT, with the championship final taking place on Saturday, March 7, at 2 PM CT.

PERFECT TEN: For the 10th-straight week, six of the eight WCHA squads were ranked in the top-15 of the USCHO poll with No. 1 Wisconsin, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Minnesota, No. 9 Minnesota Duluth, No. 13 Minnesota State, and No. 15 St. Cloud State.
Marquee Matchups: Two top-15 matchups are on the weekend slate with No. 3 Minnesota and No. 15 St. Cloud State facing each other in a home-and-home series, while No. 9 Minnesota Duluth travels to No. 15 Minnesota State.
Minnesota Milestone: In Minnesota's 11-1 win against Bemidji State last Saturday, Abbey Murphy moved into second all-time in program history with 249 points, passing Amanda Kessel.
Hunting Huskies: After recording a shootout win against then No. 8 Minnesota Duluth in their series opener, No. 15 St. Cloud State defeated UMD 5-2 in game two. The game two victory marked the first win for the Huskies against UMD since Dec. 9, 2023, and the first win at AMSOIL Arena since February 9, 2019.
Beaver Blocks: Bemidji State's Katy Comstock recorded eight blocks in the Beavers' loss to No. 3 Minnesota last Friday, tying the most blocks by a WCHA skater this season.
Kraemer Control: In Minnesota Duluth's 2-2 draw against No. 15 St. Cloud State last Friday, Caitlin Kraemer recorded 24 faceoff wins, marking the most in a game by any WCHA skater this season.
Weekend of Hats: Three WCHA Skaters recorded hat tricks last weekend as Joy Dunne posted her second four-goal game performance of the season in Ohio State's 7-4 win against Minnesota State last Friday. Minnesota's duo of Abbey Murphy and Ava Lindsay each recorded hat tricks in the Gophers 11-1 victory against Bemidji State on Friday, with Murphy posting her first four-goal game of the season.
Netminders on Watch: Four WCHA goaltenders were named to the 2026 HCA Goalie of the Year Watchlist last week, with Minnesota's Hannah Clark, St. Cloud State's Emilia Kyrkkö, Ève Gascon, and Wisconsin's Ava McNaughton each having their names on the list.
Hockey Humanitarian Award Nominee: Minnesota Duluth's Grace Sadura was named one of 12 nominees for the 2026 Hockey Humanitarian Award. The award is presented annually to college hockey's finest citizen — a student-athlete who makes significant contributions not only to his or her team but also to the community-at-large through leadership in volunteerism.
Rookie on the Rise: Ohio State forward Hilda Svensson continues to lead all rookies this season in total points (42), goals (15) and assists (27)
Point Leaders: The WCHA is home to seven of the top-10 point leaders in the country, and all five of the top-five as Minnesota's Murphy leads all skaters with 58, followed by Wisconsin's Caroline Harvey (46), Ohio State's Svensson and Wisconsin's Lacey Eden both with 42, and Ohio State's Joy Dunne at 41.
