Five teams picked up points in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association standings to highlight Friday night's action.

No. 2 Ohio State 2, RV St. Thomas 1 OT | BOX SCORE | Ohio State Recap 
- Jocelyn Amos propelled No. 2 Ohio State to a 2-1 overtime victory against St. Thomas as Amos scored both goals for Ohio State in the win; Ohio State recorded its seventh straight victory. 
- After a scoreless first period, Whitney Horton put the Tommies in front at the 11:11 mark of the second frame; down one heading into the final period, Ohio State’s Jocelyn Amos scored the equalizer at the 7:58 mark of the third and sent the game to overtime, where she scored the game-winning goal 38 seconds into the extra period. 
- The two-goal game by Ohio State's Amos marked the third of the season for the Buckeye forward, while the overtime goal was the first of her career.
- St. Thomas' Julia Minotti recorded 45 saves despite the loss, marking her sixth game this season with 40-plus saves. 


No. 3 Minnesota 8, No. 15 St. Cloud State 1 | BOX SCORE | Minnesota Recap 
- A seven-goal second period propelled No. 3 Minnesota to an 8-1 victory against No. 15 St. Cloud State; the Gophers extended their win streak to nine games with the victory. 
- Jamie Nelson scored the lone goal of the first period for the Gophers just over 16 minutes into the opening period; Minnesota then exploded for seven goals in the second period, including two from Nelson; Sofianna Sundelin scored the lone goal of the game for the Huskies at the 9:44 mark of the third period. 
- Nelson recorded the first hat trick of her career and netted her 50th career goal in the victory; teammate Sydney Morrow reached 100 career points as she totaled four assists in the game. 
- Minnesota's Josefin Bouveng extended her point streak to 24 games as she scored a goal and added an assist for the Gophers. 

No. 9 Minnesota Duluth 0, SOW No. 13 Minnesota State 0 | BOX SCORE | Minnesota State Recap 
- After three scoreless periods and a scoreless overtime, No. 9 Minnesota Duluth earned the shootout win against No. 13 Minnesota State. 
- Ève Gascon recorded her fifth shutout of the season and 16th of her career and is now tied with former Bulldog Kim Martin for 4th all-time in UMD program history for career shutouts. 
- With the 0-0 draw, Minnesota State's Hailey Hansen also recorded a shutout in the game, marking her fifth of the season for the Mavericks; Hansen stopped all 28 shots she faced.
