Head Coach Mark Johnson
On Rosalie Tremblay's play as a freshman:
"Tremblay she's just, she's comfortable, you know for a young player to be comfortable, it's impressive. She's just a really good 200-foot player, smart, and she's going to be a lot of fun to watch."
On Ava McNaughton in goal tonight:
"There were a couple of flurries in the third period which were good, she got tested, she had to make a couple of nice saves. She was aggressive on them and the pucks were hitting her in the Motion W and so that's always a good indication that she's in tune to what's going on."
Freshman Rosalie Tremblay
On her first game at LaBahn:
"I knew the girls kind of told us that it was going to be a big game and a lot of people were going to make it because we were celebrating, but I was never expecting that much noise and how big we are for the city. It's amazing to see and we want to do it for them and winning 7-0, we're pretty happy we did that."
Freshman Nela Lopušanová
On what the team found in the second period they were missing in the first:
"We talked about in the locker room, moving the puck more and obviously the puck is the fastest player on the ice, so I think that's what we changed. We started moving better without the puck as well so I think that's what we changed and it worked pretty well."
On how Maggie Scannell is helping her get acquainted on the team:
"She's awesome. She's trying to learn Slovak and Czech so it's kind of funny but I could not ask for a better player here to help me as a freshman for the start. She is helping me out a lot. She is giving me a lot of advice off the ice also, so I'm really grateful for her."
Up Next: The Badgers and Terriers meet again tomorrow at LaBahn Arena at 5 p.m. for the second game of the series. Fans can watch the game live on B1G+ or listen on Fox Sports 1070.
