The top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers defeated No. 2 Ohio State 4-1 to split the series with the Buckeyes in Sunday's Western Collegiate Hockey Association action.

- The top-ranked Badgers defeated No. 2 Ohio State 4-1 to move back into first place in the WCHA standings with just four games remaining in the regular season. 
- Lacey Eden put the Badgers on the board at the 16:17 mark of the first period, while teammate Cassie Hall opened the second frame with another Badger goal less than two minutes in; Kaia Malachino pulled the Buckeyes within one later in the second period, but it was not enough as Wisconsin tallied two more goals in the third for the 3-1 win. 
- Rookie netminder Rhyah Stewart recorded 20 saves for the Badgers to earn the win in net. 
- Wisconsin's Eden scored her 97th career goal in the victory as she is now three goals away from joining Hilary Knight, Brianna Decker, and Meghan Duggan as the only Badger players with 100+ career goals.
