- The top-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes advance to the 2026 NCAA Frozen Four Semifinals after a 6-1 defeat of Yale inside the OSU Ice Rink as the Buckeyes improved to 4-0-0 all-time against the Bulldogs.
- Ohio State's Jocelyn Amos scored six minutes into the game for the early 1-0 lead before Yale scored its first and what would be its only goal of the game at the 11:25 mark of the period; the Buckeyes then rallied for three goals in the second frame courtesy of Kaia Malachino, Sloane Matthews, and Jordan Baxter; Ohio State added two more in the final frame as Matthews and Amos eached recorded their second goals of the game.
- Buckeye netminder, Hailey MacLeod, made 22 saves in the game to earn the win in net.
- All of Ohio State's Frozen Four appearances have come during head coach Nadine Muzerall's tenure; the team has had previous Frozen Four appearances in 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
