Kendall Nelson serves as the Communications & Digital Content Intern for the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) for the 2025-26 season. Nelson joins the league from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
At UMD, Nelson serves as a Video, Operations, and Social Media Assistant for the Women’s Hockey program. There she videotapes practices, tracks ice time during games, and leads digital content efforts across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. In addition to her role with the hockey team, she works as an Athletics Communications Intern, supporting live stats for Duluth’s varsity athletic programs across Divisions I & II.
Nelson has contributed to several high-profile hockey events, including working as an off-ice official at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship, a statistics staff member at the 2023 Kwik Trip Holiday Faceoff, and a Beachfest Ambassador at NHL All-Star Weekend in 2023.
A North Dakota native, Nelson is pursuing her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Professional Sales at UMD.
