Specializing in his research and journalism, Bill Brophy acts as a public relations consultant for the WCHA throughout the season. Brophy's historical expertise has helped the coverage of WCHA players competing in IIHF Women's World Championships, the Olympics, and in monthly feature stories.
In addition to his written coverage of the league, Brophy supports the WCHA's efforts at the Final Faceoff each year, both in managing press box personnel, All-Tournament Team voting and awards, and in postgame press conferences.
Brophy currently resides in Madison, Wis., where he has on-air television experience with Rush Media, covering events for Bally Sports Wisconsin, B1G+, and with Turner Sports at the Division III College World Series. A sports writer with years of experience, Brophy has also worked with the NFHS Network on WIAA State Tournaments.
