28 With WCHA Connections To Compete In Collegiate Series

Twenty-eight Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) players will compete in the 2025 Collegiate Series between Canada and the United States.

The three-game series will take place August 13-16 and will be played at the Lake Placid Olympic Center in Lake Placid, New York. Team USA won the 2024 series with a 1-1-0-1 record, winning game three by a 7-1 margin and holds a 25-5-4-18-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) all-time record in the event history.

The 2025 U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team is comprised of 16 WCHA student-athletes, as Minnesota leads the way with seven total players on the roster, followed by Wisconsin with five, Ohio State with two, and Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State who each of which has one representative.

Twelve total WCHA skaters were named to the 2025 Canada National Women's Development Team Roster, including five from Ohio State, three skaters from Minnesota and Wisconsin, and one from Minnesota Duluth.
