WCHA and OS Hockey Announce Renewed Partnership

The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) and OS Hockey announced today a new two-year partnership extension. OS Hockey will continue as an official league sponsor through the 2026-27 season.

"The WCHA is thrilled to not only have OS continue their partnership but also agree to a two-year deal," said WCHA Commissioner Michelle McAteer. OS was the first organization to sponsor our social media graphics, which is an essential platform to grow our brand and reach our fans. So many of our student-athletes participated in OS and their events, and their impact on the WCHA is profound. Winny and Justin are proud WCHA alums who are fully committed to supporting the sustainability and growth of girls' and women's hockey."

OS Hockey will serve as the presenting sponsor for all programmed social media content during the regular season, produced by the WCHA, including weekly awards, schedule graphics, scoreboard updates, and more. Building on the original partnership launched in the fall of 2024, the WCHA and OS Hockey will continue their collaboration for the next two seasons. This partnership continues to strengthen the WCHA brand while also enhancing the visibility of OS Hockey.

"We are delighted to renew our multi-year partnership with the WCHA," said OS Hockey Operations Director Justin Brown. "Since its inception in 1999, the WCHA has distinguished itself as a premier conference in Division I women's hockey. Os Hockey Training maintains deeply rooted ties to the WCHA, with hundreds of OS alumni and staff having competed in the league. The WCHA has consistently provided a unique competitive environment for thousands of female student-athletes, enabling them to pursue their potential on the ice and in the classroom in preparation for their lives and careers. OS Hockey is honored to continue its collaboration with an organization and brand that, like us, steadfastly supports and champions girls' and women's hockey."

Ties to the WCHA
Not only do Winny and Justin have ties within the WCHA, but several of their family members do as well. Winny's sister, Kerry Brodt Wethington, was the first-ever coach at St. Cloud State and has two daughters who have played in the WCHA, Madeline and Audrey. Madeline was a member of the Minnesota women's hockey team from 2019-2024, while her sister Audrey is currently in her final season with the Gophers. Winny's sister, Chesley Brodt Rosenthal, also played at Minnesota, while her older brother, Vic Brodt, played for the first-ever Division I men's St.Cloud State hockey team. His daughter Hanna Brodt Prow followed in his footsteps, playing for the St. Cloud State Women's hockey team from 2012-2016. Justin Brown played for Michigan Tech while his dad, Charlie Brown, was an All-American at Bemidji State and played on the United States Olympic Hockey team in 1972.
