The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) announced today that it has renewed its partnership with Elite League Hockey as an official tournament sponsor of the WCHA Final Faceoff for the next two seasons.
"The Elite League has been instrumental in providing opportunities for girls to compete at the highest level in the Midwest, which improves the development of the game and increases exposure and recruiting opportunities," said WCHA Commissioner Michelle McAteer. "For many of our student-athletes, the path to the WCHA included stops in the Elite League. The WCHA is proud to partner with a powerhouse in the hockey world that is also deeply committed to growing our sport."
After previously sponsoring the 2025 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff, Elite League Hockey will be integrated into the branding and promotion of both the 2026 and 2027 WCHA Final Faceoff events. The WCHA will benefit from this partnership through joint branding efforts, social media promotion, and coordinated marketing initiatives with Elite League Hockey.
"The Girls’ High School Elite League is thrilled to collaborate with the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) to sponsor the WCHA Final Faceoff, said Megan Tripicchio of Elite League Hockey. "The WCHA has consistently maintained its reputation as the premier women’s hockey conference in the nation, showcasing some of the world’s most talented female hockey players. The Girls’ High School Elite League extends its congratulations and good luck to all the participants."
