Nine WCHA Student-Athletes Earn CCM/AHCA Women’s Division I All-American Honors

Nine Western Collegiate Hockey Association student-athletes were named to the 2026 CCM/AHCA All-American Teams, announced today by the American Hockey Coaches Association and chosen by the nation's Division I head coaches.

Wisconsin and Minnesota each had three honorees, the most of any WCHA school, while Ohio State had two and Minnesota Duluth had one. The WCHA has the most individuals receiving All-American status out of any conference, with nine.

Wisconsin's Caroline Harvey earned her third First Team All-American honor as she was also named this year's Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award winner, WCHA Defender of the Year, and WCHA Player of the Year. Teammate Lacey Eden was named to the First Team for the first time in her career. Another Badger earned recognition in Laila Edwards, who was a Second Team selection. The Badger trio looks to help Wisconsin claim its ninth NCAA title in tomorrow's championship game.

Minnesota's Abbey Murphy, the 2025-26 WCHA Forward of the Year, was a First Team All-American selection for the first time in her career. Murphy was also a top-three finalist for the 2026 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award. Nelli Laitinen and Sydney Morrow earned Second Team All-America honors as Laitinen earned her first recognition in her career, and Morrow earned her second.

The 2025-26 WCHA Goaltender of the Year, Minnesota Duluth's Ève Gascon, was a Second Team selection while she was also named a finalist for the Women’s Hockey Goalie of the Year Award.

Ohio State's Emma Peschel was named to the First Team for the first time in her career, while  Joy Dunne was a Second Team selection. The duo will look to help Ohio State claim its third NCAA title in program history in tomorrow's championship game.
