The Western Collegiate Hockey Association announced a multi-year extension of its long-standing sponsorship with Kwik Trip, continuing the brand’s role as the title partner of the WCHA Final Faceoff through 2029. The agreement reinforces Kwik Trip's commitment to women's hockey and the WCHA. Kwik Trip has served as the title sponsor of the league's premier event since 2023.
The top women’s college hockey conference in the nation will now hold the Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff for the 2027, 2028, and 2029 campaigns. The multi-year deal includes regional efforts from Kwik Trip in stores to promote the league’s postseason tournament, additional vendor support leading up to the event, and in-arena promotion at the tournament.
"We are ecstatic to partner with Kwik Trip for another three years and have our premier championship tournament named the Kwik Trip Final Faceoff," said WCHA Commissioner Michelle McAteer. "Kwik Trip continues to set the standard for excellent customer service and for giving back to their communities. Kwik Trip has helped us elevate our event for our teams and fans, and we are excited to continue to do just that."
The 2027 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff is set for March 4 & 6 at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena on the campus of the University of St. Thomas. The WCHA’s four remaining teams compete for the league’s playoff championship and an automatic berth in the 2027 NCAA Tournament.
“We are proud to be part of the WCHA Final Faceoff for another three years,” Kwik Trip Senior Manager of Partnership Marketing Teresa Clark said. “We look forward to serving the league’s student-athletes, coaches, fans, and families as they travel to the upcoming tournament.”
