After combining for a 12-0-0 weekend against nonconference opponents, players from four different teams claimed the first set of Western Collegiate Hockey Association weekly honors of the season, presented by OS Hockey.
WCHA Forward of the Week
Alice Sauriol, Sr., St. Cloud State (Sherbrooke, Quebec)
In St. Cloud State's series sweep and upset of then-No. 7 UConn, Alice Sauriol tallied three goals and three assists. Her league-leading six points came with a plus-6 rating on the ice, where she had a hand in six of St. Cloud State's eight goals on the weekend. Sauriol was one of just four WCHA skaters to record two multi-point games, while her shot percentage of .500 led the squad. Her efforts helped St. Cloud State earn its first series sweep against a ranked team since Oct. 4-5, 2024, against then-No. 15 Mercyhurst.
Other Nominees: Kaia Malachino (Ohio State), Cara Sajevic (St. Thomas), Caitlin Kraemer (Minnesota Duluth), Mercury Bischoff (Minnesota State), Kelly Gorbatenko (Wisconsin).

In Saturday's 5-3 victory to seal the sweep, Tenenbaum assisted on a go-ahead goal, before netting an empty-netter for a two-point performance. Skating to a plus-4 rating on the ice, Tenenbaum also added a trio of blocked shots on the weekend. The WCHA honor is the first in Tenenbaum's career.

Gascon was the only goaltender in the WCHA to record a pair of shutouts, while it marked the fifth time in her career with a perfect weekend. Not only did she allow zero goals against, but Gascon faced the second-most shots in the WCHA and made a weekend-high of 26 in the season-opener.
