WCHA Launches Partnership with SIDEARM Sports

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – In its effort to continue the brand enhancement of the league on a national level, Western College Hockey Association is excited to launch its revitalized website design through a new partnership with SIDEARM Sports.

The new website provider in SIDEARM provides a technology platform that powers the official websites, statistical integration, live audio and video streaming, and e-commerce of college athletic partners across the nation. Trusted by some of the biggest brands in the industry, including NCAA Division I programs and majority of the Power 5 athletic departments, SIDEARM is experienced by millions of sports fans each year.

“The league’s partnership with SIDEARM Sports presents an exciting new era for the coverage of the WCHA,” Commissioner Jennifer Flowers said. “The continued support of our membership has allowed us to reach new heights in the branding and accessibility of information for the top women’s college hockey conference, as we look to deliver the best fan experience in the country.”

With six of eight WCHA schools currently operating through SIDEARM Sports websites, the league moves into a new era for its online coverage, creating cohesive communication technology between school sites and the new league site.

Utilizing a user-friendly interface, the new wcha.com features a unique build for desktop, mobile, and tablet viewing for ease of navigation. In addition to box scores and stories, the site also has the ability to house roster information, photo galleries, and social media feeds.

The league looks forward to continuing to build out its historical records on the site over the coming months to continue to be a one-stop site celebrating the past, present, and future achievements of the WCHA’s teams and student-athletes.
